Miura America, an expert in high-efficiency industrial steam boiler systems, announced Miura Connect™ Lite, a streamlined hardware option that brings the company's proven remote monitoring platform to smaller boiler rooms and retrofit applications. The new offering addresses growing demand from customers and representatives for a compact, lower-cost solution that delivers the same secure connectivity and real-time monitoring capabilities as the standard Miura Connect™ system.

Miura Connect™ Lite is designed for facilities with up to 2 boilers in new installations or up to 7 total devices in retrofit applications. The compact 12" × 12" × 8" enclosure plugs into a standard 120V wall outlet, making installation straightforward in space-constrained environments. Like the full Miura Connect™ system, Connect Lite runs on the Miura Connect™ 2.0 platform and works with both Basic and Plus subscription tiers.

"We listened to our customers, sales representatives, and maintenance teams," said Jonathan Sanchez, Product Development Manager at Miura. "They told us they wanted Miura Connect's monitoring capabilities for smaller facilities that didn't require all the features of our standard panel. Miura Connect Lite delivers exactly that: a right-sized solution that makes our Predict & Prevent Maintenance approach accessible to more facilities."

Miura Connect™ Lite provides real-time visibility into boiler room operations with secure IoT connectivity, 24/7 monitoring access, and predictive diagnostics that help identify potential issues before they cause downtime. The system includes an 8-port network switch with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity options, plus local data output via Modbus and BACnet protocols for building automation integration.

Key Features of Miura Connect Lite:

  • Secure IoT industrial gateway running Miura Connect 2.0 platform
  • Real-time monitoring with 24/7 access from any device
  • 8-port network switch with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity
  • Local data output via Modbus and BACnet protocols
  • Access to predictive diagnostics, system alerts, and Miura support
  • Compatible with Basic and Plus subscription tiers
  • Compact NEMA 1 enclosure: 12" H × 12" W × 8" D
  • Plug-and-play installation with standard 120V wall outlet

System Capacity:

  • New installations: Up to 2 boilers and 7 total devices
  • Retrofit applications: Up to 7 total devices (no boiler count limit)

The primary difference between Miura Connect™ Lite and the standard Miura Connect™ system is the absence of PLC I/O capability. This means Connect Lite monitors Miura boilers and compatible devices without the ability to integrate external sensors for flow meters, storage tanks, and other third-party ancillary equipment. For facilities requiring comprehensive integration of mixed equipment, the standard Miura Connect™ system remains the recommended solution.
