The FEEDOS M bulk material feeder from process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA, Somerset, NJ, features a choice of feed screws as standard to match the ideal screw design to the properties of the material in process. Permitting one feeder to accurately feed and dose a wide range of flow-resistant and free-flowing powders, pellets, granules, and other dry solids, the Feedos M screws are interchangeable and easily removed, cleaned, swapped, and replaced without tools in seconds for fast, easy changeovers.

The proprietary Helix screw design provides smooth, efficient feeding for materials with light bulk densities such as carbon black, cocoa powder, and fly ash without bridging, ratholing, or generating dust. The Helix with Center Shaft screw offers a powerful rotating action designed to consistently feed heavier materials such as salt, corn meal, and PVC resin, while the Full Flight screw offers a hygienic design that eliminates any potential metal-to-metal contact. The feeder screws support flow rates from 20 l/h to 3600 l/h.

The FEEDOS M may be tested with the different feed screws on fully operating process equipment in the company's New Jersey test laboratory. The automated powder feeder is delivered ready for installation with a one-year warranty.
