The IP69K certified panel uses 316L stainless steel and can be used as a standalone HMI or as an HMI+PLC combo. The C6 stainless steel HMI is made to offer protection in environments where high pressure water or steam is used to sanitize or clean the equipment. It is designed for industrial applications.
Supports more than 40 different communication driversThe C6 HMI is meant to support more than 40 different communication drivers including EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet and Modbus in order to be paired with many different PLCs. The panel also includes a micro UPS—supposed to protect non-volatile data—and a software tool that should permit backup, restoration, and transfer of programs. Integrated remote maintenance capability comes standard and allows monitoring and maintenance of remote installations using a secure VPN connection, says the company. The panel features a touch screen display designed to include 16 million colors meant to offer high-quality visualization.
