The ASCO portfolio includes liquid isolation valves, general service gas valves, pinch valves, proportional valves, linear indicators, cylinders, grippers, FRL’s, as well as complete manifold assemblies and fluidic modules. The portfolio is meant to create custom fluidic systems on tight deadlines.
The addition of the Series 058 Miniature Isolation Valves is designed to support liquid applications requiring a reduced footprint. The size (envelope) of this 14mm miniature valve product is approximately 1/3 that of traditional 16mm fluid handling miniature valves, and the weight is reduced by 50%.
With the product made to have low power consumption, less heat is transferred to thermally sensitive reagents and samples. This is due to neutral or aggressive liquids in analytical instruments, making this direct acting solenoid valve a proper valve to use. In addition, the small form-factor is made to save space in OEM instruments and are they are designed for portable and hand-held field devices.
The direct acting solenoid valve is also designed for Clinical Diagnostics, DNA Sequencing, Liquid Chromatography, and Sample Preparation applications and has a lifetime rating of 10 million cycles.
