Hi, everybody. My name is Adam Rosenthal. I'm the Director of Marketing for the ProMac Pharma business unit. I'm also the Director of Sales for the WLS brand, a subsidiary of ProMac. Today I'm here at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, and we are super excited to be showing our brand new PR unit from WLS. We have the PR 12 and the PR 24. The difference in those models is the speed that this machine goes at. Now, this is a plunger rod insertion and labeling machine. We combine into one compact unit, plunger rod insertion for syringes and high-speed, high quality labeling.
Now the really awesome thing about this machine, the thing that makes it different than anything else that's ever been on the market, is our brand new patent pending ATR technology. What we're doing is, as we insert the plunger rod into the syringe at very high speed, is that we are able to compensate for plunger placement 5 mm one direction or the other, and on an individualized basis. Each syringe is processed wherever that plunger happens to be, and we are able to meet that plunger where it is and not move it.
And then on the rotational dimension, we are also able to monitor torque and torque that rod in at the exact correct torque so that we experience no plunger movement. So we feel like we've really built a a really excellent, new innovation for the market, and we also then marry that plunge rod insertion with high speed, high quality, precise Weiler Labeling Systems labeling technology.
