The compact, modular, and robust Inever BY300 multilane stickpack machine is designed for low-to-medium production of quality stickpack seals of dosing powders, granules, solids, liquids, and pastes. Output ranges from 150 stickpacks/min. for a three-lane operation to 350 stickpacks/min. with seven lanes. Widths range from 1.8 in. for a three-lane operation to 0.67 in. for seven lanes. Lengths range from 1.18 in. to 8 in. The BY300 can also be specified with inkjet or thermal printing and embossed coding for variable data.
A patented CO2 laser-based system, with an estimated operating life exceeding 45,000 hours, performs both scoring and marking operations. The score line is perfectly straight across the stickpack, producing a precise, straight-line tear – an easy-open package. The laser breaks – scores – the outermost layer of film without damaging the inner layer.
Laser scoring and marking can be used on paper, plastic, and coated treatments. Laser marking is said to be a sought-after marking technology because of its low lifecycle cost, well-defined and precisely placed images, and flexibility in terms of style of text, graphics, photos, and barcodes. It is also a clean process, without the need for solvents.
The BY300 features PLC control, brushless servo motors, and a touch screen HMI. The rugged, ergonomic machine is easy to clean and maintain. Available options include: dust aspiration for powders; collating/counting conveyors for cartoning; integrated top load or end load cartooning; mechanical cam drive.
