Biotec: Biodegradable bioplastic resins

Suitable for use in blown film extrusion applications, Biotec’s BIOPLAST 500 biodegradable bioplastic resin for film applications is composed of a biobased carbon share of 51%, and is recyclable and home compostable.

BIOPLAST 500 can be extruded down to 18 microns films. Multi-use and single-use plastic bags produced with BIOPLAST 500 are printable by flexographic and offset printing without pretreatment.  The resin can be colored with masterbatches, and is hot, RF, and ultra sonic 
Sealable.
