- Film speeds of up to 80 meters per minute
- Achieves maximum output levels of up to 600 products per minute
- Modular design allows integration with Delta robotics, in-feed systems, and secondary packaging
Bosch Packaging Technology augments its portfolio of horizontal flow wrappers with the Pack 401. The machine is ideal for wrapping confectionery, cereal, energy, and health bar products.
The Pack4 01 is designed for high operating speeds at output levels of up to 600 products per minute and can achieve film speeds of up to 80 meters per minute. It utilizes a large servo drive and motor to enable cross sealing at high speeds with high acceleration and deceleration control, ensuring tight cut-offs and a high package quality.
New features on the Pack 401 provide a high degree of reliability and efficiency. The latest technology in gap control results in consistent and precise seal integrity. A standard dual spindle backstand with power feed roller allows for full automation, providing improved splicing, cutting, auto tracking and tight cut offs.
The Pack 401 can operate as an independent unit or can be integrated with other packaging systems such as Delta-robotics, secondary packaging equipment, product handling equipment, and various infeed modules.
“With the increasing demand for convenience foods, health-conscious products, and sports-oriented energy foods, the bar product format will continue to gain market share,” says Craig Collet, product manager at Doboy. “We have developed the Pack 401 to provide manufacturers with a high speed solution for bar packaging to meet these growing demands.”
