Allen’s new 53LT provides 300 dpi resolution, printer resident
barcodes, cassette ribbon loading, large 600 meter ribbon capacity and
best-in-class thermal print head. The 53LT can be equipped with an
optional external Ethernet device to enable remote changeovers and the
centralized control of multiple printers via plant-wide networks. The
space-saving, two-component model offers a single connection point,
minimizing space requirements and improving reliability. It can be
easily integrated with a wide range of host equipment such as vertical-
and horizontal-form-fill-seal systems, primary labelers, thermoformers
and overwrapping equipment. The 53LT comes standard with an operator
keypad and Windows-based full-featured label design software. The
printer can mark labels and a variety of substrates for packaged
products with expiration dates, product identification information,
lot-batch numbers, company logos and more.
