Pactiv (Lake Forest, IL) is now marketing several Hexacomb® honeycomb components—blocks, runners and top-deck components—for use in a variety of displays and shipping containers, including POP structures, bin boxes, corrugated trays and gaylords.

The Hexacomb components are said to offer a less expensive, lighter and more structurally durable alternative to standard corrugated often used for these applications. Hexacomb honeycomb is made from kraft paper and water-based adhesives.
