Hazen Paper Co.: Foil board

Hazen Paper (Holyoke, MA) has introduced FX2, an 18-pt SBS board with foil on both sides. The foil seals both sides of the board, which is said to eliminate curl due to moisture.

Both outer sides of that structure are then coated with the company's Ultracure(TM) acrylic topcoat, which increases the rate of UV cure and facilitates printing and stamping. Applications include hang tags, folding cartons, and displays.
