Flocon, Inc. completes headquarters and manufacturing relocation

Flocon, Inc., completed its corporate relocation to Woodstock, IL.

The move expands research and development, office, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales functions into two facilities with 670,000 sq-ft of space on a 58-acre campus.

Flocon is a manufacturer of fluid applicator and dispensing systems that include fine mist sprayers, lotion pumps and valve-actuated dispensing pens.

“This move is transformative for our company. It provides an incredible base to better service existing customers, and it allows us to expand our product range. We have several new programs that will be introduced over the next three years and the Woodstock campus provides the space and flexibility required to add staff, manufacturing lines and logistical support,” said Stephan M. Ballot, Vice President of Flocon, Inc.

The new campus establishes a park-like setting incorporating wetlands, open space, and room for expansion. The two facilities on the site, referred to as Lakeside Center and Parkside Center, have been in development for two years.

Lakeside Center houses corporate administrative functions, new product development, automated assembly, and quality control.

Parkside Center is home to the company’s primary warehousing and distribution functions and fluid-filling and packaging services. It also will integrate new processes and production lines in the near future. With eight inbound and 19 outbound shipping doors and a dedicated enclosed rail spur, this facility is equipped to accommodate diverse and complex customer orders.

All other Flocon facilities will remain in-place, including two injection molding facilities in Harvard, IL, specialty chemicals, waxes and fluid-filling in Frankfort, IL, and a manufacturing and distribution facility near Glasgow in East Kilbride, Scotland, United Kingdom.
