Finalists have demonstrated admirable manufacturing performance metrics, as well as practices and programs that exhibit a comprehensive focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
"We are honored to be recognized as a finalist in the IndustryWeek Best Plants Competition for the second year in a row. Our employees work hard every day to improve safety, quality, and productivity and I am proud of their efforts,” said Michael Jones, Operations Manager.
“The implementation of the Intertape Performance System has been a cultural shift in the way we conduct ourselves in operations. The process requires engagement of plant people at all levels, especially the production floor,” said Philip Kauneckas, Continuous Improvement Leader.
IndustryWeek will choose the 2015 IW Best Plants winners from the twenty finalists, who will represent the 26th anniversary class of the IW Best Plants competition winners.
The winning facilities will announced in early 2016, and their stories will be shared both online and in print. They also will be honored at the 2016 Manufacturing & Technology Conference and Expo, which will take place May 3- 5 in Chicago.
