Packaging Synergies Incorporated, the former distributor of Effytec Packaging machinery in the U.S. and Canada, has sold its assets to Pro Mach Incorporated. Effytec ended its relationshipship to Pro Mach.
Effytec USA is 100% owned by John Dykema. Dykema owns 44% of Barcelona-based Effytec Packaging (Efficiencia Y Tecnologia S.A.). Dykema is also 100% owner of De Pere, WI-based packaging machinery manufacturers Campbell Wrapper Corporation, Parsons-Eagle Packaging Systems, and Circle Packaging Machinery, Inc. Effytec USA will operate from the Circle Packaging Machinery, Inc. facility in De Pere.

Roger Stainton has been hired to be the President of Effytec USA, and its primary sales person. Stainton comes to Effytec USA with over 20 years of experience running a distributorship and selling HFFS equipment for Bossar, where he worked with the Effytec principals before they formed Effytec. Campbell, Parsons-Eagle, and Circle currently have 11 highly-skilled service technicians. Some have prior HFFS experience and will be cross-trained on Effytec machinery. Additional service technicians will be hired. In the meantime, until cross-trained and fully staffed, Effytec USA has the ability to contract for the service of Packaging Synergiesā former technicians from Pro Mach.
