Acyr Borges assumed his role as President of Serac Inc., subsidiary of the Serac Group headquartered in Carol Stream, IL on March 01, 2013. He is former Vice-President of Hercules Sealing Products Inc., and former Sales & Marketing Director of Henkel Adhesives Corp for Asia-Pacific. He has an extensive track record in business development and joins Serac with ambitious challenges aimed at boosting business in the North & Central Americas.
Borges has extensive international experience in Sales and Marketing management in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Europe.
“I look forward to leading the American region of Serac," stated Borges, “I see tremendous opportunities for continued growth as well as building on the many successes we have had over the years.”
Borges has a diverse background and brings many talents to Serac including strong business knowledge with an MBA in International Business from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, and experience as Sales Director and Marketing Director.
Alan Bonanno will be in charge of market research, liaison to Serac technical staff, website development and metrics, collateral development, and pre/post-sales support. He has a broad background in Marketing and Business Development with more than 20 years of experience working with companies such as AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Rockpoint Logistics and ADEA Inc. He comes to Serac with proficiencies ranging from Product Management and Marketing for Fortune 500 companies to Entrepreneurial Marketing Manager for start-up businesses.
