LMI Packaging Solutions hires VP, director

As a response to its continued growth, LMI Packaging Solutions, Inc., flexible lid packaging solutions manufacturer, has hired Kevin Meyer as its new Vice President of Operations, and Fred Rose, as Director of Engineering and Business Development.

Kevin Meyer, LMI Packaging’s new Vice President of Operations, has assumed responsibility for leading LMI Packaging’s operations, environmental, health & safety, and quality. As an executive staff member Meyer reports directly to company President Ron Wesel.

Meyer joins LMI Packaging with extensive operational experience at leading international organizations including CFC International and Alcan Packaging. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.

“I believe Kevin brings a level of leadership to our company that will undoubtedly be a major asset," says Ron Wesel, President of LMI Packaging. "As we further grow and expand our operations, his work and knowledge of the packaging industry will be key components in our continued success."

Fred Rose joins the company as Director of Engineering and Business Development. In this position, Rose’s focus will be on delivering product innovations related to LMI Packaging’s food and beverage market segments. He reports directly to Randall Troutman Vice President of Technology and Business Development.

Rose has an extensive background in developing and leading technical teams from start-up to Fortune 100 Corporations. His education includes a BSEE from Valparaiso University, an MSEE from Loyola Marymount University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

"We are happy to welcome Fred to our ever-growing commercial team," says Vice President Randall Troutman. "He has a proven track record of creating and successfully bringing new products and solutions to market, everyone here at LMI Packaging is excited that he is a part of our team."
