Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies moves to new facility

Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies, manufacturer of packaging systems for a wide variety packaging services including, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical, has moved to their new 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Oostburg, WI.

The facility will serve as the US headquarters and allow Viking to expand into new markets. All operations are functional in the new space and a formal Open House will be planned for the near future.

The new facility includes additional office space, a showroom, large production floor, parts storage, and confidential clean room/demo area.

“We found a great community to relocate to. Our new location is very visible and easily accessible along the major business corridor in southeast Wisconsin. With our new space we can continue to grow seamlessly and bring new technology to market faster and more economically. We’ve been fortunate to put together a great team and our new facility reflects the talent, imagination and work ethic our team displays every day,” comments Rick Leonard, President.

The company was founded in the mid-1990s by Rick Leonhard and is also led and co-owned by Robb Leonhard, Vice President, RC Huhn, CFO, and Scott Miller, Operations Manager.

The company’s success as a packaging machinery sales organization led to the creation of Viking manufacturing and service in 2005. While experiencing tremendous growth, the four partners decided to grow a more global presence and formed an exclusive partnership with Masek of the Czech Republic. Masek is a leading European packaging machinery company. This led to the formation of Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies.

RC Huhn, CFO, states, “This new facility demonstrates our commitment to progress in the industry,  job growth in the area and providing excellent service to our new and existing customers. We are looking forward to the future!”
