Biederman comes to NYCOA with 27 years of chemical industry business
management experience, most recently at INVISTA, a subsidiary of Koch
Industries, and before that at the DuPont Company.

Biederman joined DuPont in 1980 and held a number of positions, primarily in the company’s flagship Fibers and Intermediates Department. He became vice president for specialty intermediates at INVISTA in 2004, when Koch Industries purchased DuPont’s fibers and intermediates business. Biederman is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
