Turck has announced that levelprox, its non-invasive ultrasonic sensor that proves point-level detection of liquids through metal containers, now has FM approval.

The T50 (316 L stainless-steel housing with an integrated sanitary connection) and the M30 (standard 30-mm barrel) models are both approved for Class I, Div 2 applications when used with the appropriate mounting brackets and lockfast® device. Suitable for high-pressure, hazardous, or hygienic applications, both models offer dual operating modes for use in hard-to-solve level applications, such as when a high-viscosity liquid coats the container walls or when stirring devices are used within a container.
