Spanish language version of PROCESS EXPO website launched by the FPSA

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) has announced the launch of a Spanish language version of the PROCESS EXPO website as the first part of a comprehensive program to inform Latin American food processing professionals about the benefits of participating in PROCESS EXPO, taking place November 1-4, 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

“PROCESS EXPO enjoys attendance from all over the globe but the truth is, attendees from Latin America are by far our largest group,” said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and President of Weber, Inc. “In 2011, we are making a concerted effort to make PROCESS EXPO the type of event that our customers and prospects from Latin America need to attend.”

While still in development, the Spanish language educational sessions at PROCESS EXPO 2011 will feature topics such as food safety and sanitation, employee training and maintaining standards for food and beverages being exported into the United States. In addition, FPSA councils will develop industry-specific sessions for meat/poultry/seafood, dairy, bakery, beverage and fruit & vegetables.

“With so many courses to choose from, having our content in Spanish on My Process Expo will help attendees identify the sessions that are most important to them,” added Andy Drennan, Vice President of International and Market Development for FPSA. “
