Campbell selling European chips business

Valeo Foods to be new owner

Campbell Soup Company has signed an agreement with Valeo Foods to sell its European chips business, which includes UK-based Kettle Foods Limited and Netherlands-based Yellow Chips B.V., for approximately $80 million. Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2020.
