DecTec08 Africa, which focuses on product decoration, labeling and packaging, will be held November 27-28 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference, said to be the first in the region "to provide a comprehensive review of product decoration in its broader context, as a prime component of packaging," will combine "a formal conference agenda with a tabletop exhibition and social networking opportunities." Hosted by AWA Conferences & Events, and sponsored by industry leaders, including Platinum Sponsors Mondi, Packaging and Print Media magazine, Sappi, Stanford, and UPM, DecTec08 will focus on the "strong growth opportunities in southern Africa" for labeling and related product and packaging technologies.
