Argentinean wine reduces carbon footprint in production, shipping...

Argentina's Yellow + Blue vintner not only produces a high-quality organically grown wine, but it "bottles" its Torrontes varietal in Tetra Pak cartons.

The single-serve or re-sealable packages are made of 90 percent less packaging than traditional bottles. The choice of Tetra Pak cartons saves on fuel and transportation costs, as well as storage costs. Produced "green," shipped "green"—no wonder the company often says, "Yellow + Blue equals 'green.'" Oh, and the larger 1-liter carton of wine provides 33 percent more wine than a standard glass bottle. Salud!
