More than 250 association members and packaging supplier companies attended the 5-day event, which included business strategy meetings as well as evening and sporting events.

“This landmark meeting,” said NACD president Dennis Sipe, “was our way of celebrating 80 years of building for our future.”

During the convention, NACD presented its 2005 Supplier of the Year award to NOVAPAK/A PVC Container Company.

“NOVAPAK went beyond just meeting the Supplier of the Year Award criteria,” Sipe said. “They are responsive to the marketplace and make it their mission to provide value to their customers.”
