The open cell nature of Porex‚ Porous Plastics promotes excellent gas exchange throughout the package, company says. Gas-permeable membranes can be supplied in a hydrophobic or hydrophilic state. Open cell rigid or semi-rigid parts can also be molded with complex geometries for use in challenging venting designs. Products are engineered from various polymers with controlled pore size for filtering, wicking, venting, muffling, diffusing, and membrane support.
