Chinese consumers demand processed/packaged foods...

In China, predicted retail sales for chilled food will rise 115% by the end of 2009 compared to 2003. Improved living standards of the urban Chinese consumer is driving the demand. Improvements in transport of these goods, as well as the growth of supermarkets—which provide easy access to chilled foods.
