Tobacco products in India to contain pictorial warnings. . .

On May 31—World No Tobacco Day—the Indian government implemented "pictorial health warnings on all packages of tobacco products." The warnings picture a scorpion, an x-ray picture of diseased lungs, and a colored picture of diseased lungs and "will be rotated every few months so that their shocking effect is always fresh." Special squads have started cracking down on violators of the "Packaging and Labeling Rules, 2008."
