Slovakian firm develops eco-film for candy. . .

Flexible packaging company, Moneta's, located in Ruzomberok, Slovak Republic, has developed an eco-friendly alternative to cellophane. The Yango Twist film is a BOPP that twists tightly to keep hard and chewy candy, and gum, wrapped and fresh. The film can be run on new machines or older packaging machines—that haven't necessarily been designed to handle synthetic materials, according to the company.
