Kellogg's launches "space-saving" box. . .

Detroit, Michigan consumers will be the first to try the cereal giant's new short & stout packaging design. The new box should fit in today's pantries easier, yet will provide the same amount of cereal. One blogger comments: "I am impressed that changing the box dimensions while still holding the same amount of cereal can actually change how much [packaging] material is used!" While another blogger says: "Makes a lot of sense, but cynical me believes it won't be long before the contents unceremoniously become 8-oz. and the box becomes a little thinner." Still other bloggers wonder if we need the box at all!
