Baby formula taken off Israeli shelves...

When Remedia baby formula failed to note the absence of vitamin B1 on its label five years ago, three babies died and 20 were injured in Israel.

The vitamin was removed by parent company, Humana, and the packaging "did not reflect its actual vitamin content." Just four months after relaunching the formula in 2006 with new packaging, Remedia discovered most consumers would not buy the product despite its reinvention. All product has been pulled from shelves and is now "gone, baby, gone."
