How safe is YOUR sunscreen...

For years, consumers have been applying sunscreen with various SPFs in order to protect their skin from sun damage.

But the nanoparticles contained in some sunscreens are not noted on labels. Nonoparticles can leach into our bodies, and cause serious health problems. Some regulators are concerned that the FDA is failing to require strict labeling standards on sunscreen and other products in the cosmetic and personal care industry. (Talc in feminine hygiene products can cause cancer.) The concerned regulators are asking for a "Cosmetics and Personal Care Products Labeling Act" to inform and protect consumers.
