The Russian cosmetics and toiletries market has grown 106.3 percent over the last five years—and Alcan is seeking to meet the ever-increasing demand by purchasing a cosmetic tubes facility near Moscow.

This comes on the heels of Alcan's recent investment in India where the company "opened a $10 million flexible packaging plant in Northern India to build its presence in the fast growing food and cosmetics markets in the country."
