Controversy brewing with ShotPaks...

Designed to be portable potables ShotPaks contain shot-sized alcoholic beverages marketed for social gatherings like tailgating, beach parties, and boating.

But educators and medical professionals are concerned that the "compactness of the packaging and the ease with which the drinks can be hidden in a pocket or a purse only add to their attractiveness to teens." While the makers call it a "party in a pouch," critics have coined the term "alcoholic candy bar," to describe the built-in appeal of the drink to the younger, vending-machine mentality consumer.
