"Porking" up sales with new labeling. . .
Beauty shots of pork might sound fishy, but it's one way to move pork out of the meat case and into the shopping cart, according to The Pork Checkoff. Partnering with Wal-Mart and Tyson, the Pork Board is testing the effectiveness of recipe labels on packages of pork in the meat case. The labels include recipe, photo and price, as well as directions to The Other White Meat website. Source: www.porkboard.org
