Beer sales flat for SABMiller...

A number of factors influenced the slow third-quarter beer sales for SABMiller.

Increased competition and supply chain challenges in South Africa, tough trading conditions and inclement weather in Columbia, and a rise in raw material costs contributed to the third-quarter 4 percent volume rise, compared to a 13 percent rise in the first quarter of 2007.
