U.S. maintains lead in global packaging shipments

For the 10th consecutive year, United States packaging machinery makers maintained their top ranking, with sales totaling US$6.413 billion, according to the Confederation of Packaging Machinery Associations (COPAMA).

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) is a COPAMA member and contributes statistics to the association based on U.S. Census Bureau data as well as
its own surveys. Countries are ranked on the basis of total dollar sales of packaging
