Running February 19 to 21 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, the WestPack exposition and conference will display a wide variety of packaging products and services in three pavilions: Cosmetic & Personal Care Packaging, Pharmaceutical & Nutraceuticals Packaging, and Materials Handling/Logistics.

New this year for WestPack is that it will be co-located with four complementary shows: Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M), PLASTEC West Pavilion, Pacific Design & Manufacturing, and Electronics West. The combined event will occupy the entire Anaheim Convention Center. Some 42ꯠ attendees and 3ꯠ exhibitors are expected, creating what show exhibitors are calling the largest and most diverse business-to-business event on the West Coast. Show hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Canon Communications (Los Angeles, CA) sponsors WestPack and the WestPack Conference. The conference is scheduled for February 19 and 20. Conference attendees can hear the latest updates on regulatory issues, marketing strategies, and new technology updates. Included will be three major sessions on bar-code technologies. In the wake of recent efforts by FDA to require that all human drug biological products be packaged and bar-coded in single-dose formats, these presentations are certainly timely. Registration for the conference begins at 8 a.m. on both days. Conference hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
