Hello. We are here at Pack Expo in Chicago. My name is Ciaran Donnelly Global Business Development Manager for Lantech, and we'd like to present the new Lantech SL400 stretch wrapper.
So the SL400 stretch wrapper, as you can see, we have an AMR positioned underneath the pallet. We've been watching the development of this market very closely in the last two and three years as the AMRs transition from a niche product into the mass market, and we've now launched a wrapper that's been specifically designed to meet the criteria of that market and that industry.
So the first thing that we focused on with the design of this machine is the ease of integration and the communication between the machine and the AMR. For that reason, we communicate via API, which is the language that the AMRs are speaking in, so making it as easy as possible to set up and execute the the machine process.
So one of the most important things we've seen in the automation world, be that in the warehouse, the manufacturing facility, or the RDCs, is that film tails at the end of the wrap cycle are very difficult to deal with in normal circumstances. If we add in the automated warehouse and the AMRs, film tails cause failure cause the line to stop.
So we have the Turbo Tech film sealing solution. It's a non-contact wipe down at the end of the cycle to ensure that we've got a, a nice clean wipe on the film tail at the end. And also, if we focus in on the automation unit, we've got a load-seeking clamp, which brings the film to the pallet at the start of the cycle, giving us maximum containment force from the very beginning to ensure that we have sufficient load stability on the pallet at the lowest total cost of ownership.
