Bottles are comprised of 2 parts: a sturdy molded fiber shell made from recycled cardboard and newspapers, and a thin interior plastic pouch that uses up to 70% less plastic when compared to rigid plastic HDPE bottles. The plastic pouch and spout are made from #4 Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic, and are BPA-free. To dispose of simply pop open the exterior shell and recycle or compost it. The thin #4 plastic pouch is recyclable with plastic grocery bags.
