Toray Plastics (America): Clear BOPP films

Toray Plastics has introduced its Torayfan® line of clear BOPP films designed to replace PVdC-coated films. Torayfan CB-S 70G and 80G (heat-sealable) and CB-P 70G (nonsealable) clear barrier films are noncoated and nonyellowing, offering moisture transmission rates comparable to PVdC-coated films.

Said to be microwaveable and environmentally friendly, films yield high puncture-resistance, stiffness, and oil-resistance. Suitable for applications requiring barrier web in multilayer laminations, grease liners for oil resistance, or source reduction for thick BOPP webs.
