ExxonMobil Chemical (Houston, TX) has commercialized Exceed 1012CA, a new metallocene-based, very low-density polyethylene (mVLDPE) resin developed to provide better properties than currently available with conventional VLDPE and ULDPE resins.

Film manufactured with Exceed 1012CA offers downgauging opportunities to reduce costs. Its low sealing temperatures mean less energy is required for sealing, and its cold temperature impact performance is excellent for frozen food packaging.
