Himac, Inc: Metallized nylon film

Himac, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) has extended its range of extruded, metallized, biaxially oriented nylon films by adding both 32-ga and 40-ga films to its existing line of 48- and 60-ga products.

These two new gauges are said to make the use of these films more economical for meat, cheese and pharmaceutical applications. The 32-ga nylon film may be laminated to paper, permitting its use in lidding, medical, pharmaceutical and electronic components packaging.
