Rocklid GP allows the end user to keep lidding film on the foil tray during cooking in a conventional oven. For added convenience, the lidding acts as a slow-release steamer film and self-vents in the oven, eliminating the need to pierce film before cooking. Product is cooked retaining a higher amount of moisture, color, and without drying effect that can be experienced when lidding is removed prior to cooking. Lidding is 100% recyclable PET, and with twice the yield of a laminate. Film withstands range of oven temperatures and is available with antifog for good presentation in the refrigerated section. Additionally, barrier may be added for MAP applications.
