Stand-up pouch packaging and stick pack capacity are in the process of being ramped up at Dutch contract packager Budelpack Poortvliet, according to Packaging and Converting Executive Forum. EdgeStand, a stand-up pouch made from flexible film and suitable for posers, solids, or granulates, will be among the technologies offered by Budelpack in the wake of the new installations. EdgeStand was developed by and is marketed in cooperation with Chokoku-Plast of Osaka, Japan.
