Multi-layer, coextruded forming film with unique, uncoated medical grade paper

EASTPACK : Perfecseal showed its Paper Lock™ advanced, multi-layer, coextruded forming film with an uncoated medical draft-grade paper at the MD&M show in New York.

The Paper Lock Hybrid forming film is the first advanced direct-seal film that yields fiber-free seals to uncoated paper, company says. It provides exceptional mechanical strength, nylon core layer for good abrasion resistance, and an ionomer layer that enhances formability and widens the processing window, simplifying machine validations. The direct seal paper is uncoated, 70 GSM, yielding fiber-free seals in the 300-450 gram force/" range. It complies with ISO and EN porous microbial barrier guidance documents.
