POUCH SALES CONTINUE TO CLIMB

Demand for pouches in the United States is projected to climb nearly 7% per year through 2006 to sales of $4.6 billion, representing 79 billion units.

According to The Freedonia Group’s report, Pouches, stand-up pouch use will rise 16.6% annually in that time. “Among the fastest-growing markets for stand-ups will be snack foods, processed foods, pet products, and lawn-and-garden consumables,” says the study.
