DuPont to sell Clysar® to Bemis

DuPont agreed to sell its Clysar® shrink film business to the Bemis Co., Inc.

DuPont (Wilmington, DE) agreed to sell its global Clysar® industrial shrink film business and manufacturing assets to the Bemis Co., Inc. (Minneapolis, MN).

Transfer of ownership is expected to occur in August 2002.

The acquisition is to include all elements of the global DuPont Clysar industrial shrink film business: research and development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing at Clinton, IO, and LeTrait, France. The existing distribution channel will continue selling and servicing the Clysar product line for Bemis.
