Elsewhere on the education front, the Packaging Education Forum, Herndon, VA, has issued $59ꯠ to 68 students at nine universities for academic year 1995 awards. The total combines PEF awards with those funded by Dow Chemical, Du Pont, PMMI and Sealed Air. PEF also has launched an aggressive membership drive to attract leading packaging companies to its "partnership." For more information about the program, phone PEF at 703/318-8975. Finally, the Flexible Packaging Educational Foundation, Washington, DC, announced January 13 that Dow Chemical Co. has become its charter donor.
