Hammer Packaging awarded for custom labels

Winning pieces were chosen based on print quality, technical difficulty, and overall visual effect.

Pw 330277 Goldink 2017

Hammer Packaging has received two Printing Impressions Gold Ink Awards for 2017. With nearly 1,000 entries submitted over 50 categories, Hammer received the Silver award for digital printing with Seven Teas pressure sensitive label and the Pewter award for packaging/labels for Hydrive Energy Water shrink sleeve label.

The Seven Teas label was a complex project that showcased Hammer’s exceptional quality and attention to perfection. Using our HP digital press, this label was printed on metalized paper with a matte laminate finish. The pinpoint accuracy of the press’s registration reproduced the highly intricate design details. This label also won an Award of Recognition in the 2017 Premier Print awards.

Hydrive’s new product packaging is the result of a successful partnership between Hammer Packaging and Hydrive Energy Water. The signature pearlized white graphic at the top of the bottle was custom developed and required intricate testing to ensure reproduction. We combined our digital and flexo technology along with the expertise from our production lab to generate a number of test package samples before reaching the perfect solution to run at full production
