Accraply to host AWA shrink sleeve label workshop

Two sessions of the “AWA Introduction to Heat-Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies 2016 Workshop” will be held in July.

Accraply, a division of Barry-Wehmiller, will host live demonstrations at its Plymouth, MN, facility during the “AWA Introduction to Heat-Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies 2016 Workshop” in July 2016, in partnership with AWA Alexander Watson Associates. This workshop, offered twice, serves as an interactive guide to the technologies and processes involved in the production and application of shrink sleeve labels.

Incorporating theoretical presentations with on-site demonstrations, the workshop also includes a “cures and remedies” panel discussion between workshop participants and industry specialists. In addition to Accraply, the two-day workshop is supported by Creative Edge Software, Flint Group Narrow Web, HYBRID Software, Klöckner Pentaplast and ThermoFlexX.

Workshop A is scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 19 and 20, and Workshop B, which includes an optional Spanish translation, is slated for Thursday and Friday, July 21 and 22. Flint Group Narrow Web hosts the first day of each workshop, and Accraply hosts the second day. Additional information can be found at awa-bv.com/events. Participation is limited, and registration currently is open.

“AWA events typically rotate locations year to year,” remarks AWA Alexander Watson Associates President and CEO Corey Reardon. “However, the popularity of this seminar and the superb partnership with Flint Group Narrow Web and Accraply has worked so well that we return to Minnesota for a fourth consecutive annual event. With the significant support and participation of leading international companies in this growing technology arena, we have been able to create a very special opportunity for anyone who needs to gain a sound education in heat-shrink sleeves.”
